About Me

Hi, I’m Wendie.

I’m an Ayurveda counselor, lifelong learner, creative spirit, and someone who has had to rebuild life more than once.

For years, I worked hard, cared deeply about people, and tried to create a meaningful life through work, relationships, business ownership, and service. Some things succeeded beautifully. Some things fell apart in ways I never expected.

At one point in my life, I bought a struggling small-town bar in Idaho and helped turn it into a successful business. What followed was a painful season of betrayal, loss, burnout, and starting over. That experience changed me — but it also pushed me toward something deeper and more authentic.

Through all of it, Ayurveda and yoga became more than philosophies to me. They became practical tools for healing, grounding, resilience, and learning how to live in alignment with my nature instead of fighting against it.

This website is not about perfection.

It’s about rebuilding.
It’s about real life.
It’s about learning to create balance in the middle of uncertainty.
It’s about health, energy, purpose, simplicity, and beginning again at any age.

Here you’ll find reflections on Ayurveda, everyday wellness, nervous system healing, routines, food, movement, work, creativity, and the ongoing process of becoming more fully yourself.

I’m building this space organically — one step, one lesson, and one honest conversation at a time.

Whether you are exhausted, starting over, searching for direction, or simply trying to feel better in your body and life, I hope something here helps you feel less alone and more connected to your own inner wisdom.

Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is an ancient holistic science and sister philosophy to Yoga that teaches us how to live in greater harmony with nature and with ourselves. Through mindful daily habits, nourishment, movement, and self-awareness, Ayurveda helps us understand the rhythms of nature and the unique needs of the individual — reminding us that we are not separate from nature, but part of it.

How did you discover Ayurveda?

I first discovered Ayurveda through the book Ayurveda of the Mind by David Frawley during a challenging time in my life. I was searching for a better understanding of myself, my thoughts, and my overall well-being. Ayurveda gave me a completely different perspective — one rooted in balance, self-awareness, and living in harmony with nature — and it ultimately changed the direction of my life.

What kind of content are you sharing on this website?

This website is a place where I share my personal journey with Ayurveda — including my experiences, experiments, successes, challenges, and lessons along the way. Part of that journey has included healing from betrayal, loss, and major life changes while learning how to reconnect with myself through balance, nourishment, daily routines, and self-awareness. I hope this space inspires others to explore their own path toward healing and living in greater harmony with themselves and the natural rhythms of life.
