\nI first came across Ayurveda during a difficult time in my life. I was being told that there was something wrong with me, and I started looking for another way to understand myself and what I was experiencing.<\/p>\n
That’s when I found Ayurveda and the Mind<\/em> by Dr. David Frawley.<\/p>\n
\n
I didn’t know it at the time, but Ayurveda had found me.<\/strong><\/p>\n
<\/strong><\/p>\n
That book opened up a completely different way of looking at the relationship between the body, the mind, and everyday life. I wanted to learn more, and that curiosity eventually led me to seek out formal study.<\/p>\n
\n
My path took a few turns before I found Hale Pule. I discovered their podcasts first, and the more I listened, the more I wanted to learn. Eventually, I enrolled in their Ayurvedic Health Counselor program.<\/p>\n
I’m still learning, still questioning, and still discovering what Ayurveda means in my own life. And that’s really what this journey is about.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

What Happened Next<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n
\nOnce I found Ayurveda, I started looking at my life a little differently.<\/p>\n
I began experimenting with food, daily routines, yoga, sleep, and the way I cared for myself. Some changes felt surprisingly natural. Others took time\u2014or didn’t work for me at all.<\/p>\n
What surprised me most was that Ayurveda wasn’t asking me to become someone else. It was teaching me to pay attention to who I am.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
And the more I learned, the more I wanted to know.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The More I Learned<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
\nThe more I learned, the more I wanted to know.<\/p>\n
Ayurveda opened up questions I hadn’t thought to ask before\u2014about how I live, how I eat, how I move through the world, and how all of those things affect how I experience my life.<\/p>\n
I chose to approach those questions through curiosity and experience. I tried things, paid attention to what I noticed, and kept asking questions. And, surprisingly, I found things that actually worked for me.<\/p>\n
The more I explored, the more connections I began to see. And learning about Ayurveda became more than something I was studying. It became something I was living.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
